IDRA WORLD 2024

The last day of the IDRA WORLD congress ended with the participation of our commercial director, Mr.Olivier Bedague, in the session Addressing the challenges of safety and reliability in membrane desalination plants.
As moderator Mr. Doug Eisberg, Global Business Development – Avista Membrane Treatment Solutions, Kurita and together with the panelists Dr. Gary Crisp, Chief Engineer, Sequana, Mr. Guillaume Clairet, Operations Director, H2O Innovation, Mr. Hari Prasad, General Manager – Industrial Water, Pentair Water India Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Ben Movahed, P.E., BCEE President, WATEK Engineering Corporation presented the upcoming American Membrane Technology Association guideline written specifically for the safety and reliability of membrane systems. Examples of system component failures and corrective actions were presented to the audience. The goal of this panel is to educate attendees on the importance of maintaining membrane systems in good working condition and to understand the importance of when replacement of key components is suggested.
